Coincidence? #Blog #Blogging

I had the opportunity
To meet some people from the “city”
And got to mix football with business
So was invited back to theirs in Chelsea!

King’s Day #blog #blogging

Kingsley holds more than you think!

Draw your own box! #blog #blogging

I think we are going to run out of boxes to choose from, when it comes to origin and ethnicity?? Very soon. 😂😂

Maybe we can just accept people as they are and find other useful indicators to measure?

A testimonial

I am so pleased to share the latest testimonial from the Notre Dame School in Southwark. Sent by Teresa..

Our Cllr Dorothy #blog #blogging #food

Tomatoes would grow
But not all in a row
Groundnuts did abound
They were also around
I even found yam
As you would on a farm
Green beans in pods
One purple, among the lot!
Strawberries so red
Were growing in the bed
Pears were ripe and sweet
To pick up with ease
I later climbed the black cherry tree
To D’s words of caution and grin
I found rosemary and spinach
Seeding in the low ditch.

Going #Afro? #blog #blogging

Imagine how in this day and age technology begins to reveal myth-shattering ideaologies, ground-breaking discoveries that shake the very foundations of what we have held true for so many years. In this day and age people still say to children under 25, “Go back to where you come from!”

What is the correct answer to that I wonder? This young person say they replied “I was born here” to the shock of the other person. I think maybe I would have said something like, “where is that then?”

Anyhow technology, archaeology and DNA typing suggests the existence of the cheddar man – a mixed featured dark-skinned individual blue eyes that some have argued against for reasons best known to them.

Finance lessons taught by Mummy! #blog #blogging

My mum noticed that we would sit on the fence outside the house and buy anything the “street hawkers” were peddling so that when the day was up, or rarely, week was up we were broke. For some reason I started learning to save my money as I was not sure about our spending. I would then bail out or help others if they needed money.

What I like best was that my mum studied our spending patterns and realised (market research) we were spending on sweets and worked out the type of sweets we bought by asking – survey.

That’s how we began to run a sweet shop in the store of mummy’s kitchen.

Walking 🚶‍♀️with Mayor #blog #blogging

I spent a reflective and fun day with the beautiful Madam Mayor, Cllr Sanchia Alasia.
Very easy to talk to and soft spoken and direct, we were spending the time raising funds for her three chosen charities: Endometriosis, Pennu and Afruca. They could not be more diverse as they cater for suffers of a condition where womb tissue grows outside it; for wellbeing of the maturing people and campaign against child abuse / human trafficking, respectively.
So after the night before

So unqualified yet God-qualified #blog #blogging

How well will it go to say to a King you have come on a mission to release their workforce from ‘slavery and oppression’ of a cruel rule? Not nice or easy. As if that was not bad enough, Daddy says, “by the way, this King will give you a tough time and I will need to do some killing before he lets you release my People!”

An impossible task made in heaven and articulated to man on earth.

Let’s review this man’s qualifications again?
– foreigner
– Born to slave parents
– Fugitive / wanderer
– Murderer on the run about to be extradited.
– Current CV occupation: shepherd last 40 years, expert in sheep 🐑 conversation 💭 and rearing
– Nervous speaker
– Stuttered Speech.
– Maybe low self esteem
– And more…🙊

Understanding #blog

This feels a little rushed… I don’t think I have been this aware of how powerful gratitude is! There are so many different ways God has shown His deep, unfailing love and sense of humour in my life and friends’. (Hope punctuation is good). Well I had the amazing opportunity to chat to another believer…
