I asked the First Lady for permission to get people on the train to sing her a song. She was politely arguing her refusal when I suddenly jolt-started her by getting up and making a plea. Somewhat unusual for dressed ladies with lipstick as this was a usual thing with people who had either musical instruments or tins to collect money.
How well will it go to say to a King you have come on a mission to release their workforce from ‘slavery and oppression’ of a cruel rule? Not nice or easy. As if that was not bad enough, Daddy says, “by the way, this King will give you a tough time and I will need to do some killing before he lets you release my People!”
An impossible task made in heaven and articulated to man on earth.
Let’s review this man’s qualifications again?

Did Daddy’s book not say, “Gods ways are past finding out…”. God can DO and UNDO anything, anytime, anywhere, anyhow. Isn’t that why He is God? I can’t help thinking that this encounter was in direct response to my plea and prayer the night before.
But if time was not that important, why do we apologise, get embarrassed , offer explanations and reasons when we are late? Is it because of the inherent need to please, or change how we are perceived?
Have you wondered like me if God has a sense of humour? Well He made you and me right? In His image? Likeness and we have His nature – in Jesus. So yes possibly, He does. Imagine how much pleasure we get from a good joke or laugh and it’s scientific benefits. We release endorphins from laughing and they make us feel good.

This feels a little rushed… I don’t think I have been this aware of how powerful gratitude is! There are so many different ways God has shown His deep, unfailing love and sense of humour in my life and friends’. (Hope punctuation is good). Well I had the amazing opportunity to chat to another believer…
That was not all. I became part of the entourage to sit with this dignified individual. Cool stuff. But my M friend was waiting for me. So I had to phone to tell her I had upgraded Travel for which she complained that I would no longer be sitting with her. Oh dear. So I agreed with her that I would sit beside her. Only I had not realised how difficult it would be to keep that promise
Daddy take a long, deep and hard look at my life, do a thorough review. I am easy to read, what you see is what you get, even on social media, you know my true intentions.
Use your talent to get ahead, don’t hide it. ( it could end in punishment)
My Daddy says “a man’s gift will make way for him and being him before Great men.” His book also has a story / parable about three men and their talents.
How many times do we get approached about a business opportunity with slated prices, quotes and terms that we feel are good? But after agreeing to it, we hear of someone else’s deal and feel we should have negotiated for more?
A story in my life comes to mind. I had applied twice for a role, same documents and all before I was called to an interview. To get the best chance I had answered every question, written verifiable completed examples of the tasks listed in job description to show my eligibility for the role. At the interview I was pretty confident about getting the position until one question ‘threw’ me! Undaunted but a little lacking in that confidence I had at the start, I offered an answer…
Where is God in all this?” “Has God given up on this yet?” How can you give it up!? Who will take it from here?
