Watch “I blame my parents” @BBC 3 on 20/01/19

There are too many cases of cyber bullying and suicide among our youths!

It’s time someone or some people started talking…

Follow us into our private lives as we share our struggles, mine as a parent to my lovely Dami; and my daughter as a young adult.

#Mentalhealth issues are alarmingly on the increase and not talked about much. I was too busy to see what was happening in my own home.

“I blame my parents” (an interesting hook) is the title of this @BBC documentary where communication skills with my beautiful daughter is “put under the microscope”. We talked about church and God’s influence on healing too (hope that gets in…😂)

Beautifully Flawed, My new #book out on #Amazon

Divorce is never an easy subject to talk about and it takes it toll on the parties involved, especially the children and wider family and social networks. I pray you never have to take this route and that your relationship does not take a violent turn…

Does God procrastinate? #Blog #Blogging

So when He finally answers the call, after a few, 4 days, when it was too late, he meets with accusation. Martha said “if you had been here, my brother would not have died” but her sister, Mary came to kneel at His feet acknowledging his lordship and says the same words. The words were similar but reactions very different.

Could it be that they both knew a different Jesus individually? Actually it seems we were given some insight into how Mary had loved to sit at Jesus feet, worshipping Him. Martha added that the body had a bad odour at this time.

What most people might take for granted, choosing to upgrade a phone at the end of a contract, turned out to be an uphill task for me, punctuated with so many emotions.  I used to get told what make of phone to sign up for. Now, I had the choice…the freedom, to pick and…

I think we are going to run out of boxes to choose from, when it comes to origin and ethnicity?? Very soon. 😂😂

Maybe we can just accept people as they are and find other useful indicators to measure?

Our Cllr Dorothy #blog #blogging #food

Tomatoes would grow
But not all in a row
Groundnuts did abound
They were also around
I even found yam
As you would on a farm
Green beans in pods
One purple, among the lot!
Strawberries so red
Were growing in the bed
Pears were ripe and sweet
To pick up with ease
I later climbed the black cherry tree
To D’s words of caution and grin
I found rosemary and spinach
Seeding in the low ditch.

Is she the right one? #blog #blogging

So I was attending a wedding 🎩 👰 where the bride and groom were about to exchange their vows. The minister asked for the one giving her away and her father came forward claiming it was him. The minister asked if he was happy with the proceedings so far because another previous ceremony had left the father of the bride then, quite upset. This father said he was.

Next the minister asked the groom to lift up the veil to check if he had the right woman at the altar. The congregation burst into rapturous laughter as he reminded us this was not the first time a bride 👰 had been switched for the groom.

Walking 🚶‍♀️with Mayor #blog #blogging

I spent a reflective and fun day with the beautiful Madam Mayor, Cllr Sanchia Alasia.
Very easy to talk to and soft spoken and direct, we were spending the time raising funds for her three chosen charities: Endometriosis, Pennu and Afruca. They could not be more diverse as they cater for suffers of a condition where womb tissue grows outside it; for wellbeing of the maturing people and campaign against child abuse / human trafficking, respectively.
So after the night before
